Anti-Whaling Sea Control 2050 Plans

Sea Control

Denying Whalers The Use Of The Maritime Domain Through Anti-Whaling Sea Control Activities

The Whale Defense Agency (WDA) is pioneering a unique and aggressive anti-whaling sea control strategy that stands apart from traditional concepts of sea control typically associated with military dominance or national security. WDA’s approach focuses on achieving complete operational control over areas where whaling is conducted, enabling the agency to disrupt, deny, and eliminate threats through advanced, non-lethal means. This strategy embodies a feasible, more futuristic, high-tech vision to ensure the eradication of whaling by 2050.

Central to WDA’s anti-whaling mission is the development of a comprehensive global network of sea bases, logistical hubs, and technological assets. These initiatives are designed to sustain prolonged anti-whaling campaigns without dependency on politically controlled territories, thus maintaining operational autonomy. WDA will begin establishing floating sea bases and fundraising to construct land-based logistics hubs and to purchase retired naval bases and airfields and retired military aircraft such as C-130s, this will enable WDA to support our fleet, including our flagship 60-meter-long, 60-knot Anti-Poaching Vessel (APV).

These sea bases act as mobile command centers, enabling WDA’s fleet to refuel, resupply, and conduct repairs far from conventional ports. They also serve as platforms for deploying drones and autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), extending WDA’s surveillance and intervention capabilities across vast ocean areas. This setup allows WDA to maintain a persistent presence in whaling hotspots, ensuring that our vessels can operate continuously and effectively disrupt whaling operations.

Complementing the sea bases are strategically located land-based logistics hubs in key regions like Alaska, Hawaii, and the Southern Ocean. These hubs will provide essential shore support, training facilities, and supply depots, enhancing WDA’s ability to respond rapidly to whaling threats. Each hub will be equipped with advanced training areas, simulators to predict and analyze marine intervention tactics and support training operations, drone deployment facilities, and extensive supply storage, ensuring that WDA’s operations remain agile and efficient.

The WDA’s sea control strategy is not just about deploying ships like every other NGO; it’s about creating an interconnected, global network capable of constant vigilance and swift action, on a smaller scale, that aligns with respected military doctrine on sea control, operations, and a host of other topics. With this infrastructure, WDA can exert unparalleled influence over whaling regions and whaling corporations, ensuring that no whaling activity goes unchallenged. Through this innovative approach, WDA aims to transform the anti-whaling landscape, setting a new standard for non-violent, technological intervention in marine conservation.
